For the night design of the 78 meters high Raiffeisen Tower we built individual luminaires including a integrated cable and connector system. Therefore it was very easy for the facade builder to match them onto the facade elements in his factory.
After mounting these elements on the facade we began connecting and programming the lamps. Because single groups of lights can be controlled individually simple forms like a tree during christmas time are representable.
This project also includes a integral implementation with illuminated signage on the roof which is easy to service.
Overall 5.000 pieces of glass elements form the illuminated building envelope and unhide the dimensions of the tower during night time. The curved shape of the building and the smooth monochromatic effects match perfectly to the Danube canal located next it.
